Zach Zammit ending in second place in England f’Hillclimb

The Maltese driver Zach Zammit finish in second place in his class race in England amongst 16 drivers. The well-known Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb race was a special occasion on the 70th anniversary of this sport in England and was celebrated in this particular track that has been used for those same 70 years and is considered to be the oldest track in the world still used without changing course.

Zammit drove his car engine Evo Empire Suzuki 1000, although the class was open to cars powered with engines up to 1100. Zammit ended in second place only behind Robert Kendrick, a great and experienced driver that drove his car BMW Raptor, besides winning the class Kendrick also broke the record of the same track that was in place for the last 5 years. Kendrick made the course in 25.54 seconds while Zammit made a time of 26.62 seconds.
