Young Maltese player Luke Montebello last Sunday made his debut with the allievi Nazionali of Livorno. A product of Birkirkara youth nursery, Luke Montebello played in his first ever competitive match with the Amaranto side at the age of 16. The towering striker started from the very first minute v Novara, with Livorno winning the match 1-0 after a goal from Matteo Frati with an assist of the Maltese U17 international Luke Montebello.

The Maltese young lad had the opportunity to increase the score but his goal was cancelled after a dubious offside. Luke Montebello was substituted in the 85’. Livorno are currently 9th in the league with 15points.  On Sunday Livorno will play against Grosseto.
