XXII Mediterranean Cup Swimming Competition (COMEN)

The Aquatic Sports Association of Malta has been entrusted with the organisation of the XXII Mediterranean Cup Swimming Competition (COMEN) and would like to thank the COMEN Secretariat for giving them the opportunity of hosting such an event in Malta.

The swim meet shall be held at the Tal-Qroqq Sports Complex on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th June 2016 with the morning session starting at 09:00hrs and the afternoon session starting at 17:00hrs on both days.

The COMEN Swim Cup is open to 15 & 16 year old Boys and 13 &14 year old Girls and each participating nation may enter one team for the relay events, two swimmers per event, and up to a maximum of 16 boys and 16 girls in total.

This edition will see the participation of nineteen nations, namely, Algeria, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Egypt, France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Macedonia, Montenegro, Morocco, San Marino, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Tunisia, Turkey and Malta. The swimmers below have been selected by Artem Goncharenko to represent Malta. They will be under the guidance of Isabelle Zarb as the National Coach will be away from the Island with the Senior National Swimming Team who will be participating at the 53rd Sette Colli International Swimming meeting in Rome.
