Wednesday, August 28, 2013, 10:29

The Malta Under 19 women’s team will be meeting their Northern Ireland’s counterparts in two international friendlies on Wednesday 28 and Friday 30 August, both matches to be played at the MFA training grounds, Ta’ Qali at 18:00Hrs.

The two friendlies will be part of the build-up coach Mark Gatt’s team will be going through in anticipation of the girls’ Euro competitive programme. Gatt will be assessing his units chosen from a wide cross-section of the BOV Premier and First Division Leagues and will be working on integrating them into a sound collective outfit.

The squad is made up of several budding girls who have been part of the group or have just been introduced and are craving for representative status.

The matches will certainly be indicative of the growing potential of our Under-19 team and facing the girls from Northern Ireland will be a good test. Match Details:
