Women’s national squash team beat Norway

This morning the women’s national squash team beat Norway2-1. Colette Sultana at number 1, played very well but it was not enough to overcome her more experienced opponent and she lost the match 3-0. Next on was Johanna Rizzo who once again showed her strong determination to win and beat the Norwegian player 3-0. What won the match for Theresa Brousson (Camilleri) were her accuracy and perfect shots and she beat her opponent 3-0. Tomorrow the team will face Croatia at 4.00pm.

In the morning the men did not fare as well againstUkraineand Bradley Hindle Deguara was the only player who won his match. They then played again at 5.30pm againstGibraltarand it was once again only Brad who won his match. However the other three players, Daniel Zammit Lewis, Mark Lupi and Stephen Schranz had very close exciting matches and were unlucky to lose to their opponents. Tomorrow they playCyprusat 5.30pm.
