William Chetcuti qualifies for the Barrage finals at ISSF World Cup Lonato

Double Trap Maltese shooter William Chetcuti had a perfect start this morning at The ISSF World Cup Lonato 2012, where he managed a straight of 50/50. In his 2nd and 3rd round he managed 46 and 46 for a total of 142/150. After a tight shoot off between five shooters, he managed to qualify amoung the best six for the barrage finals that will determine the medal winners later this afternoon.

Nathan Lee Xuereb managed 43,45 and 46 for a total of 134. They are both accompanied by their coach Jimmy Bugeja.

Fifty six Double Trap shooters from around the world are competing in this event.

Their next encounter will be, The European Championships 2012, later this month at Larnaca, Cyprus.
