Victor Tanti resigns from San Ġiljan committee

The Matthew Zammit issue has recently prompted the San Ġiljan treasurer Victor Tanti to hand in his resignation to the San Ġiljan Waterpolo Club committee. Insiders confirmed that Tanti a prominent figure in the San Ġiljan Waterpolo Club clan disagreed

with some decisions recently taken after the doping issue of Matthew Zammit came out in the local press.

Tanti was also San Ġiljan’s council representative in the ASA Council which is made up of members from all the local clubs. It is not yet known whether he will retain this role.

In the meantime below is an update and round up of Day 1 of the San Ġiljan Waterpolo International Tournament:
