U15 National Team Training Camp in Hungary – Day 2

Sunday, March 3, 2019, 15:08

The U15 National Team played two matches against Oradea (ROU) yesterday evening and early this morning.  Yesterday evening the final score was 19-19 after playing for 2 continuous hours in a full pitch.  This morning Malta won against the Romanians with a final score of 18-15. The matches were played using the new rules approved by FINA.

After these two matches, Anthony Farrugia, National Coach, said that after a long trip, and playing for the first time with the new rules, he’s quite satisfied even though they could have done better as we were leading most of the game.

Being under for the first part of the match they managed to bridge the gap and over turn the result in the 4th session.  All the players were given a good amount of playing time and the team spirit is high.  Tonight the team will have another training session and tomorrow morning they will have a fitness session followed by a pool session and another match in the evening against Hornets Kosice.
