The fourth round of the Bupa National Karting Championship

On Saturday 27th of July at Badger Karting in Ta Qali, Karting Club Malta organised the fourth round of the Bupa National Karting Championship. To beat the heat the event was organised under artificial lights during the night and 20 drivers competed in the 5 different classes.

John Agius won the Iame X30 class and was followed by Brandon Pillicino and Braydon Bonnici. Rotax Max Class was won by Nicky Gauci followed by Jake Agius and Neville Zammit. Mini Touch and Go Class was won by Kieran Galea followed by Jacob Micallef and Daniel Abela. Vortex Touch and Go Class was won by Jake Falzon, followed by Christian Caruana and Isaac Micallef. Ayrton Tonna won the class for the youngest drivers known as Baby.

The event was controlled by officials from Badger Karting, Karting Club Malta, The Malta Motorsport Federation and Gaspare Anastasi that travelled from Italy to act as Race Director.
