Swimmers’ success in Berlin Titze-Cup 2010

A group of twenty-five Swimmers from the clubs of Neptunes and IASIS between the ages of 12 and 21 years took part in the Titze-Cup 2010 held in Berlin during the weekend of 27 and 28 March.

More than 45 clubs from Germany, Qatar, Ireland, Poland and the Czech Republic took part and Neptunes swimmers won 1 gold, 6 silver and 6 bronze medals. Amy Micallef also improved her own Group B 100m breast stroke age-group record with a new time of 1:25.52. Numerous personal best times were also recorded during the swim-meet which showed that the swimmers under the guidance of club coach Gail Rizzo, achieved the objective of the participation in this competition. During this week the swimmers will be taking part in the Malta Easter International Swim Meet at the National Pool Complex.
