Stella Maris College students for World Sports Festival

A group of 40 Senior School students from Stella Maris College, Gzira will be representing Malta at the World Sports Festival in Vienna between July 5-8.

This will be the first time in local sports school history that will feature a Maltese participation at this multi sport festival which is now in its sixth edition.

The Maltese students will take part in eight different sports:

Badminton: Jack Attard Cassar, Garrett Bonello, Luigi Grech, Keith Montebello

Bowling: Kurt Attard, Luke Gauci

Squash: Andrew Montebello

Swimming: Ryan Cachia, Samuel Hoiles, Matthew Micallef, Steven Zarb, Jerome Zerafa Gregory

Table Tennis: Jason Borg Millo, Thomas Micallef, Miguel Montebello, Nicholas Montebello, Miguel Pullicino

Tennis: Shaun Borg, Jeremy Gatt, Andrea Naudi, Gianluca Naudi

Wrestling: Neil Farrugia, Jamie Anthony Grech

Football: Zachary Azzopardi, Adrian Bonavia, Luke Anthony Borg, Francesco Borg Bonello, Jan Buhagiar, Omar Elouni, Deandre Grima, Norbert Kawka, Andrea Lucia, Jake Mangion, Isaac Mousu, Zak Sciberras, Liam Tanti, Dale Valletta, Nathan Vella, Malcolm Vella Vidal, Julian Zammit

The contingent will also include officials Tarcisio Azzopardi, Manrico Bugeja, Emanuel Cilia and Diane Farrugia. The Head of Delegation will be Kevin Azzopardi.

A good number of parents and relatives will also be accompanying the Maltese youngsters.
