Marsaxlokk missed the opportunity to cut the lead with just 2 points from pace setters Valletta after was held by Jorge Santos Silva strike 15 minutes from time. Vittoriosa Stars extended their late positive run and are now joint 9th on 6 points with neighbours Hiberians.
