Special Olympics launches MATP in Malta.

Special Olympics Malta, in collaboration with the Education Department, the Malta Sports Council (KMS) and Special Olympics Europe-Eurasia will be organizing and hosting it’s first MATP (Motor Activities Training Program) seminar in Malta on the 27

The seminar is being held at Benedict’s college in Kirkop and is being led by Dr. Eleni Rossides, Special Olympics Europe-Eurasia MATP Advisor and Ms. Elaine Bonnici, Special Olympics Malta Sports Director.

Around 40 attendees are attending the seminar, out of which, four are foreign Special Olympics coaches from Leichtenstein, England, Bulgaria and Austria.

Other attendees include Teachers & Coaches from the school promotion unit, University Students and other Special Olympics Malta coaches.

Special Olympics Malta would like to thank KMS (Kunsill Malti ghall-isports, SPU (School promotion unit), The Ministry of Education and the Parliamentary secretary for sports and youth.
