Sodje out, Raykov joins Sliema technical staff

Floriana released injury plagued striker Onome Sodje after he failed to regain full fitness following his injury against Marsaxlokk in January.

The 24 year old played only three games for the Greens and also scored two goals for Michael Woods team. The former Barnsley striker scored on his debut against Hamrun Spartans and against Luqa St Andrews in the U*Bet FA Trophy.

The Vilhenna club have already five foreigners in the squad.

In the meantime Sliema Wanderers announced the appointment of Todor Raykov as Technical assistant for Serbian coach Danilo Doncic. The former Msida St Joseph mentor was part of the technical staff of second division team Zebbug but decided to leave his post to join the Blues till the end of the season.

Edward Aquilina is also set to to join the technical staff as advisor and he has already requested to be seated on the bench during matchdays.
