Onome Sodje is back with the Floriana squad following an agreement reached between the two parties.

The Nigerian who joined Floriana in the last days of December had his contract suspended after the Valletta game. However after a meeting between the president Johan Said and the player over the situation, some misunderstandings were cleared, and it was agreed that the former Barnsley striker will continue the season with the Greens.

The 24 year old is available for tomorrow’s match against Balzan Youths under the new mentor Joe Brincat.

League One promotion challengers Notts County have signed Blackpool striker Daniel Bogdanovic on loan until the end of the season. Bogdanovic, 31, has scored three goals this season for Blackpool, also played for one month with League one side Rochdale.

Magpies boss Keith Curle said on leading sport website: “I’ve had a conversation with him and there’s a hunger and a desire there.”

“I know before he said he had a bit of an attitude, that’s gone”
“He wants to play football, which is pleasing, and he wants to show what he can do on a football pitch.”
