Malta Under 21 Team will be back in action on Tuesday at 5pm Centenary Stadium, it’s a friendly encounter as we host Georgia.

A preparation match ahead of an intriguing double header in October as we host Hungary and Cyprus in Malta’s U21 last two Qualifying matches in Group 6 of the U21 European Championship Qualification.

Following Friday’s 4-0 defeat to a very strong Belgium side, the U21 team resumed training with two sessions over the weekend as coach Silvio Vella assessed his players before finalising his squad ahead of Tuesday’s match.

No big changes in the 19-man squad, with Zachary Brincat (Mosta) and Yannick Yankam (Qormi) dropping out of the final 20 from the game on Friday, and Valletta defender Nicholas Pulis included in the final squad for this Georgia match.
