Shooting: Maltese Trap Shooters at “Green Cup Italia”

Maltese Trap shooters competed at The Umbria Verde Shooting Ranges at Todi, Italy this week in The Green Cup Trap Italia 2014. Shooters from all over Europe travel for this event here the facilities include also a boutique hotel that host most of the shooters and their coaches. After the Double Trap and The Skeet event it was the Trap event that attracted a record number of shooters this year. This event was on 125 clays Trap, with the top six to qualify for the semi finals and the medal match on another 15 clays.

Stephen Vella managed 24, 23, 21, 23 and 22 for a total of 113/125 to place 28th overall.
Rennie Deguara manged 108/125 to place 37th.
Charles Grech managed107/127 to place 38th
George Cassar manged 107/125 to place 39th
Nicky Carabott manged 107/125 to place 40th.
Raymond Micallef managed 94/125 to place 49th
Jean Deguara managed 87/12 to place 50th.
Stephen Aquilina manged 83/125 to place 52nd
Stefan Azzoppardi manged 79/125 to place 53rd.
James Galea Jr. competed in The Juniors Trap event and managed 105/125 to place 15th, while Stephanie Cassar competed in The Ladies Trap event where she managed 55/75 to place 35th.
