Shooting: Malta International Open Grand Prix 2017

The President of The Malta Shooting Sport Federation Mr. Savior Portelli addressed a press cionference today at Bidnija to launch The Malta International Open Grand Prix 2017.
This include The Skeet shooting event, Double Trap event and The Trap event that will take place between Saturday the 10th June and Sunday the 18th June.
Saturday 10th June, Skeet, Double Trap and Trap training.
Sunday   11th June Pre Event Skeet, Double Trap and Trap training,
Monday   12th June Skeet Competition Day 1, Trap and Double Trap Training.
Tuesday 13th June, Skeet Competition Day 2, Pre Event Double Trap, Trap Training, Finals Skeet.
Wednesday 14th June, Double Trap Competition, training trap, Finals Double Trap.
Thursday 15th June, Training Trap.
Friday 16th June, Pre Event Trap.
Saturday 17th June , Trap Competition Day 1.
Sunday 18th June Trap Competition day 2, Trap finals, Closing ceremony.
Over 140 shooters will be competing in these events coming from Malta, Great Britain, Italy, Finland, France, Sweden Georgia and Brazil.
The President also thanked the organizing committee and the main sponsor MTA for their initiative to help organize such a prestigious event that attracts sports tourism to our island.
The MSSF welcomed the good results its athletes obtained at The GSSEs where Gianluca Chetcuti won Gold in Double Trap, Frans Pace won Silver in Trap, Eleonor Bezzina won Silver in 10M Air Pistol, and Bozidar Dimitrov won Bronze in Skeet shooting.
The Malta Shooting Sport Federation looks forward for  a brighter future in the newly planned shooting complex that hopefully next year will host The ISSF World Cup Malta 2018.
The public is invited to follow and support these events at The MSSF shooting ranges at Bidnija where entrance at the spectators areas is free.
