Shooting: ISSF World Championships 2014

2000 athletes from 94 Nations will be competing for 94 Olympic quotas at The ISSF World Championships 2014 at The Tiro Oplimpico Juan Carlos 1 at Las Gabias, Granada, Spain in the next twelve days.

The Malta Shooting Sport Federation will be participating in Trap Men, Double Trap Men, 10M Air Pistol Women & 25M Pistol Women.
In Trap shooting the Maltese shooter Brian Galea had a very encouraging start today, missing only one clay in his first round for 24/25 and a perfect straight of 25/25 in his second, for a total of 49/50.
Frans Pace managed 22/25 in his first round and a perfect straight of 25/25 in his second.
Jeffery Pisani managed 22/25 in his first round and 24/25 in his second.
The Trap event continues tomorrow Tuesday on another 50 clays and 25 clays, semi finals and medal match on Wednesday.

James Galea Jr. will be competing in the Juniors Trap event.
Eleonor Bezzina will compete in both the 10M Air Pistol and The 25M Pistol events.
Next weekend William Chetcuti will compete in The Double Trap event, while Nathan lee Xuereb and Gianluca Chetcuti will compete in The Juniors double Trap event.
