ISA Football – Seifert win The John Casha Anniversary Cup

Wednesday, June 6, 2012, 5:45

Toly Products 1    3  Seifert

The match was a very balanced one with Toly being the better team in the first half and Seifert were kept in the match with some great saves from their keeper. However Toly took the lead mid-way through the first half, goal scored by Simon Shead. Toly could have scored more had it not been for the saves of Seifert keeper and Seifert rarely tested Toly keeper.

The second half was a different story and Seifert soon got the equaliser through Daniel Mifsud, one of their best players. From then on Toly were totally out of the match and things worsened when Daniel Mifsud got the second. Toly keeper was the busiest in the second period although Seifert were lucky when Toly had two clear chances and their keeper was lucky as they bounced off his legs and chest. It was just formality when Wayne Homer added the third, a goal that meant that Wayne was now Top Scorer for this season with 20 goals.
