Ex-Malta International keeper Saviour Darmanin is currently in the United Kingdom at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre helping out other professional goalkeepers coaches to choose a selection of up and coming athletes to form part of the English National Team.

Darmanin is assisting FA keeper’s coaches Martin Thomas and Billy Stewart to select potential young goalkeepers to form part of the youth teams of the English FA. Helping out also in this selection training camp is Birmingham’s keeper’s coach Dave Watson.

It is reported that Saviour Darmanin has also met the three professional goalkeepers who will be featuring with the Birmingham City team in the 2010/11 Premier League namely Colin Doyle, Mike Taylor and ex Man United Ben Foster. The qualified Maltese goalkeeper coach Darmanin also had the opportunity to meet Alex Mcleish.
