During Saturday’s ASA Time Trials held at the National Pool, Tal-Qroqq, Michaela Millo swam an excellent 200m breaststroke race to win back the national record of young Amy Micallef who had registered 2:44.32 last July. Millo, a Neptunes swimmer who is part of the national squad, covered the distance in 2:43.15.

Thirteen-year-old Neil Muscat was also in fine form as he recorded 56.17 seconds in the 100m Free, 0.30 seconds faster than his previous group C time set last month.

These two swimmers’ performances are on the upward graph as were those of other swimmers who lowered their personal best times during the meet.
