No agreement was reached for the finalisation of the fixture list for the Euro2012 Qualifying Group F which sees Croatia, Greece, Israel, Latvia, Georgia and our beloved national team Malta. In Athens at the King George Palace Hotel, sportinmalta has found out that a particular top team in the group objected to a couple of matches and thus the fixture list could not be finalised.

The matches have to be played between September 2010 and October 2011. Dr. J. Mifsud and Ivan Vella represented the Malta Football Association whilst National Team Coach John Buttigieg did not make the trip as he is unwell.

The qualifying matches have to be played on a Friday or Saturday and Tuesday instead of Wednesday on pre determined International days. This will give an extra day for the players to recover from the international matches when they go back to their respective clubs.

A draw has to be made in the coming days by UEFA to determine the fixture list.

Which team do you prefer for the first fixture? Croatia, Greece, Israel, Latvia or Georgia?
