Scuola di Pallavolo – Malta has recently been set up in close collaboration with the Scuola di Pallavolo – Anderlini of Modena, Italy.

Scuola di Pallavolo – Anderlini is one of the most successful schools of its kind in Europe, fully dedicated to the promotion of the game of Volleyball. It offers its services to more than 800 children in the region with more than 90 fully qualified coaches at its disposal. The success of their programme in the  Volleyball arena is shown through various achievements and particularly in the two Italian Leagues they won in the last season in the highly competitive U14 and U18 Female leagues. Scuola di Pallavolo Anderlini is now poised to further consolidate their record of achievements in the current competitive season.

Scuola di Pallavolo – Malta aims to build on the success of its Italian counterpart and as a first step we plan to actively promote the game of Volleyball by being present in all events that involve children, youths and their families.

During the coming Summer season we shall be holding various youth-oriented activities beginning with a Street Volley Tournament on Monday 7th June in Victor Vassallo Street Attard, in collaboration with the Attard Local Council. The tournament, which will run between 9.30am and noon, will give the opportunity to children of all ages from around Malta to experience the excitement of Volleyball. Similar tournaments will also be held in other localities around Malta.

The Scuola di Pallavolo – Malta will also launch its first Sport Summer School with the participation of experienced Italian Coaches. We aim to help participants discover not only Volleyball but also other sporting activities.
