New age-group swimming records recorded in breaststroke and butterfly

Two age-group records were registered on saturday 2nd February, by two Neptunes swimmers at the Second Age Group Swim Meet held at Tal Qroqq National Pool. Neil Muscat (Neptunes) broke the 200 breaststroke event when he broke John Buttigieg’s record standing from 1996 with a time of 2.38.58 from 2.39.64. He now holds six age group records in Group C (Age 14-15).

Meanwhile in the 100 butterfly event young Andrea Bellia bettered her own record time of 1.09.36 she achieved last November to 1.08.79.
