In the MSVLIFE MASTERS LEAGUE, Melita Celtics and Zurrieq Wolves registered their first win after three games. In the game of the week, Rabat Cavette and Marsa White Stars Barilla finished in a draw.  Every Masters game is increasing in interest and although the tension is there in every game,  sporting spirit is being demonstrated by all. After two consecutive wins, Jival suffered a shock defeat against Melita Celtics 1-4, a team that is showing progress with every game. Melita gained revenge for the defeat they suffered with Jival in the Pre Season T’ment.   No goals were scored in the first half, with Jival a little bit better and made a lot of pressure. Surprisingly, in the second half Jival lost  their rhythim and Melita were able to take the initiative to register their first win. Matthew Naudi opened the score for Melita, Jival got the draw with a goal from the league top scorer Abugella Wahashi. But from then on Melita were supreme and scored another three goals, with Andrew Naudi getting a brace.

Zurrieq Wolves also registered their first win, beating Tal-Qroqq 3-2 in an interestng game, well balanced and the final score  uncertain up to the end. The game was almost settled in the first half when Zurrieq took a lead 3-1. They deserved to be infront and they might have scored more, but were denied by the spettacular saves of goalkeeper Bruce Debattista. In the second held Ta-Qroqq scored again, and soon after they got the chance to get even, but Ivan Camenzuli, saw his penalty being saved by Jason Scicluna. From then on both teams made great efforts to score but found the passage to goal very difficult to pass through.

In the top match of the week, Rabat Cavette and Marsa White Stars Barilla, finished in draw 7-7.  It-was a game well played  in  a fast tempo. Rabat were registering their second consecutive draw, In the first quarter Marsa  went in front 2-0, but Rabat after several attempts managed to get even. However, before the break Marsa regained the lead 3-2. In the second half, play was balanced. Marsa were leading 5-2 and 6-4, but Rabat reacted and got the draw.  Both teams scored in the dying stages for a draw, a fair result. For Marsa their goalkeeper George Edwards made  several decent saves, whilst Kevin Loughborough for Rabat scored two good goals.
