Msida’s President to face disciplinary action

Robert Farrugia, the President of First Division side Msida SJ is to face disciplinary actions after comments he made during the recent Press Conference he addressed following the decision of the Protest Board to award the three points to Balzan Youths. The MFA’s protest Board had awarded the points to Balzan after Msida had won 3-0. The issue revolved around the registration of Valdo Conglaves.

Robert Farrugia has also been fined EUR100. The Msida President had made it clear that his club did not agree with the decision of the Protest Board. Full story from our archives:

The news that Farrugia would be facing disciplinary actions about his heavy statements was given in Thursday’s MFA Council meeting.

Gerald Ellul to be disciplined soon

Vittoriosa Stars’ General Secretary will also be facing disciplinary actions following unethical comments he made on local TV and on the social network site facebook.com.

Ellul has allegedly made accusations on a Premier Pool Assistant Referee.
