Most Promising YFA Player Under15 for Pieta’ Hotspurs F.C.Y.N. 2009-10

Pieta’ Hotspurs Nursery feel honoured again that yet another player from their nursery Kyle Cesare was chosen as the most promosing players of this season  from the Youth Football Association.  The Presentation was held at the Corinthia Hotel in Attard.

Last season two players from the same nursery Terence Agius and Clifford Gauci were the most promising youngsters of 2008-09 for the under 15 and under 17 respectively.   Kyle Cesare was surely awarded for the effort he showed this season.  This player has been with Pieta Nursery since he was a young child.  This confirms the good work the nursery is doing for the benefit of all those who attend this nursery.  Pieta Hotspurs Nursery would like to take this opportunity to congratule Kyle and say a big well done to the under 15 team since they managed to win the league and the under 17′s for winning the KO competition.

Between the 26th and the 29th August 2010  the Pieta Hotspurs Nursery was visited by Mr. Volfango Patarca, a renound scout in Italy where for 24 years he has worked at  Lazio F.C.’s youth Sector and now working in another football school with Nesta’s brother.  In the last 10 years, 71 players from Mr. Patarca’s youth program ended up playing for the Italian Professional League – four of which were currently on the Italian National Team during last world cup.  During his stay in Malta Patarca watched Pieta Hotspurs’s under15 and under17 boys train and play some friendly games.  During his stay he also met part of the coaching staff and shared his experiences with them.
