MFA launch Goal Card

The Malta Football Association is pleased to announce the launch of a block ticket for the five home Group B qualifying matches Malta will be playing in the 2014 World Cup Brazil as from September 2012 until October 2013.

This will be in the form of a GOAL CARD with its holders enjoying several incentives for the said matches which will feature Armenia, Italy, Denmark, Bulgaria and the Czech Republic as our opponents. This initiative follows other similar incentives given to loyal National Team followers during the EURO 2012 Home Qualifiers. Namely on the occasion of Malta’s home matches against Greece and Latvia.

The Card will be available as part of a campaign to incentivise as many Maltese Fans as possible to attend all the matches and thus give full backing to our team. The Card be on sale till 31 July or until stocks last, thus allowing space for those who prefer to buy single tickets on match days. The benefits include a reduction in the overall price on what a spectator would pay if single match day tickets were bought and, above all, the card will guarantee a seat for the very attractive Malta v Italy match to be played at the National Stadium, Ta’ Qali, on 26 March 2013.

Purchasing a Goal Card will also eliminate the hassle of having to buy single day tickets. By means of this initiative the MFA aims to attract more support from the Maltese public also when our national side faces other less crowd-pulling opponents, even if most of them rank high in European standings. Moreover, holders of the Goal Card will be eligible to win one of a number of fantastic prizes which include a Mediterranean Cruise for two persons, courtesy of Hamilton Travel.

The card can be purchased online by visiting www.mfa.com.mt or by calling personally at the MFA Offices, Ta’ Qali during office hours. Delivery of the card will be made to a given address in Malta and Gozo and will be free of any delivery charges courtesy of Miles Express Ltd.

The programme of our Group B home matches all played at the National Stadium Ta’ Qali is as follows: 07.09.12 Malta v Armenia 26.03.13 Malta v Italy 06.09.13 Malta v Denmark 10.09.13 Malta v Bulgaria 11.10.13 Malta v Czech Republic.

See also story  http://www.sportinmalta.com/higher-prices-to-shock-south-end-core-fans/ we had investigated before the actual launch were we had been given the incorrect price tag of the Italy stand alone ticket. We had been told that this would coast €10 but infact it will cost €20.
