Massimo Grima stays at Hamrun, Rainbow for Doncic and Maxi pens Mosta extension

Hamrun Spartans reached an agreement with Valletta for Massimo Grima to take the 33 year old for another season on loan. The former Pieta Hotspurs midfielder reached an agreement with a Hamrun top committee member yesterday evening to continue his career with his home town.

Massimo Grima also played for Sliema Wanderers and the National Team during his illustrious career. Tarxien Rainbows named Danilo Doncic as their new coach after he impressed during a recent interview with Tarxien top officials.

Danilo Doncic was linked with Valletta some months ago, but the champions opted for Hibernians Mark Miller. Former coach Noel Coleiro was also interviewed by the Rainbows for the possible to return back in the helm. Bulgarians Daniel Mitev and Rumen Galabov is also on the wish list of Danilo Doncic.

Birkirkara ended their contracts with Nursery coaches Carmel Busutill and John Buttigieg after news emerged that the Stripes are in a bad financial trouble according One news’s breakfast show of this morning.

It was the club President Joe Zammit who approached the former National Team coaches. Eventually the Club spoke to the coaches and explained that due to lack of finances, the club was not able to continue paying the duo.

Mosta extended the stay of Valletta midfielder Kurt Magro for another season according to Mosta FC website. The 25 year old he reaffirmed that his desire is to play again for the Citizens but “At Mosta I felt at home last season and so I decided to spend another year with the Blues as this was surely a good decision” commented Kurt Magro.

Pembroke reached an agreement with promising coach Jacque Scerri for another season. The 33 year old stern the Athletica to the second division after an impressive campaign with just one defeat.
