After finishing in the 3rd place out of 159 bowlers from 41 countries with a stellar 223 average, Spiteri went on to bowl against USA pro bowler Lennie Boresch. It was neck and neck till the 7th frame when a slight miss from Spiteri cost him dearly as Boresch went on to win 246-223. Boresch went on to win the Seniors World Cup by beating Michael Snow of Canada.  The World Seniors World Cup continues today with the doubles and will continue with the team events as well as the Masters.

A very big thank you goes to Malta Tourism Authority, VISITMALTA.com, MTBA and Eden Superbowl, whose support in such a huge event is proving to be essential towards the successful participation at these high level competitions.
