Official Opening of Malta’s First Indoor Skatepark

The Malta BMX Association proudly announces the opening of Malta’s First Indoor Skatepark on the 15th of March.

 

The association and its members with the help of the government and sponsors have been working hard for the last year to create an indoor space for the increasing number of BMX riders, skateboarders and rollerbladers on the island.

 

On the 15th of March, Prime Minister Joseph Muscat will personally attend to open the park at 1.30pm followed by a BMX show by maltese and foreign riders visiting Malta exclusively for this important milestone of the Malta BMX Association.
The park after will subsequently be open to BMXer’s, skateboarders and rollerbladers to try out the newly built skatepark. Entrance fee for those interested will be of €5 while automatically getting a chance to win a €100 prize from one of our sponsors, RIOT. No one will be allowed to ride inside the skatepark without helmet.

 

The day will end with a dance event organized by BLANK to fundraise further so ensuring that the park will be around for many years to come.
