  1. I knew Richard since 1966 when I qualiified as a referee. He was a very friendly and down-to-earth person. I also remember him as a match inspector and when I ever met him and asked him a questtion about the Laws of the Game he was always ready to answer my question and explaain very clearly my query and doubt and also explain to me the correct interpretation. May he rest inpeace.
