It has been said that three English clubs have already asked for the services of Maltese big man Daniel Bogdanovic. His latest hamstring strain saw Bogdanovic missing the last matches of this campaign, although he did make it for a five minute return appearance in Barnsley’s last match against Barclays Premier League promoted side West Bromwich Albion to thank the Fans.

Fan’s favourite Boogy, was one of the stars and an important player for the Tykes this season which saw them placing an 18th position with just five points out of the relegation zone. The Maltese striker had a great personal season from which he finished in the 18th place in the English Coca-Cola Championship Top scorers chart with 12 goals in the league and 3 goals in the League Cup.

With game changing performances, Barnsely’s number 10 Bogdanovic was already on a host of  U.K. clubs radar since January. Many have scouted him in the last matches and he certainly caught the eye. Championship sides Reading and Derby County together with Leeds United are rumoured to be interested in signing Daniel Bogdanovic for next season.
