A Martial Arts Night at Sky will be held on Saturday 27th November. During this event four matches of Kickboxing and a Boxing match are scheduled to take place with some of the athletes competing with foreign athletes.

Terence Cilia and Nicholas Ellul are two of the athletes that will compete in the Kickboxing matches. Both of them train with the Ying Yang Kickboxing Club under the supervision of Master Noel Mercieca, the founder of the club. Cilia has a WKN European Title Belt and is one of the athletes that will represent Malta and will compete with Scott Richards from the UK. Ellul will compete with Trevor Muscat, an athlete from a local Kickboxing Club.

Both athletes will have a match of three rounds of two minutes. For the match of Cilia and Richards K1 rules will apply where knee strikes will allowed. In the case of Ellul and Muscat they will compete with the traditional Kickboxing rules and will wear all the protective equipment.

Recently 17 athletes from Ying Yang took part in another Kickboxing activity. All of them did pass the exam for their next Belt level in Kickboxing.

The athletes and their respective Belts are: Red: Liam Micallef, Damian Darmanin, Jonathan Psaila, Michael Cachia, Shaun Ellul, Kieran Chetchuti; Green: Aiden Catania Borg, Lorelle Camilleri; Vjola: Isaac Chetcuti, Dareen Micallef, Althea Vella, Courtney Vella, Monarit Vella, Isaac Gatt, Dalton Bartolo, Zsolt Tuske; Blue: Raisa Demicoli.
