Karl Izzo resigns from San Giljan coach

Following the recent results of San Giljan ASC in the National League Competition and in the preliminary round of the K.O. Competition, the committee of San Giljan has accepted the resignation of Head Coach Karl Izzo.

On behalf of the Club, its committee and supporters, Dr Daniel Aquilina, President of San Giljan ASC has thanked Karl for the sterling work he gave in the past three seasons and wished him the best of luck for his future career, first and foremost in his commitment as the National Team Coach.

For the last League Competition match versus Sliema this afternoon, before the League stops for the International commitments of both the U/17 and Senior National Teams, San Giljan ASC shall be guided by Svilen Piralkov.

This afternoon, San Giljan ASC has agreed terms with Sergio Afric, who has accepted to take control of the Senior Team until the end of the current season.
