New Tarxien Rainbows coach insists there is no chance of right back Justin Grioli leaving the club

The former Valletta right back has been the subject of firm interest from Birkirkara in recent weeks and there had been suggestions that the deal could be involved in players exchange ‘I want to reaffirm the Rainbows fans that Grioli is a vital part of our squad’Danilo Doncic stated with www.sportinmalta.com this afternoon.

Tarxien Rainbows also confirmed Brazilians striker Daniel Mariano Bueno and Lucas de Castro as both players are still under contract with the Blues. The Serbian coach stated Brazilians Ricardo Costa and defender Everton Pereira are released along with Belgian striker Jimmy Mayasi.’We are working on new foreigners. In the coming days a host of foreigners are coming for a trial’ Mitev or Galabov? ‘Both players are not joining the club.’

Last season ninth placed finishers released veteran midfielder Stefan Giglio and are also expected to offload goalkeeper Anthony Curmi and defender Ryan Mintoff, as both were given the green light to find a new club after their contract expired this month. ‘On local players, I gave a host of names to the committee and we are talking on them. Any Targets? At this stage I can’t reveal anything as the local market is much restricted. When you mention a player, there is a club to pinch him under your nose.’

Note: I would like to thank the Serbian coach for his time to talk with our portal.

Well it’s a good news to hear our new coach Mr.Doncic assure us that defender Justin Grioli will stay with the rainbows. He is a very valid player and a great asset in our defence system. Brazilian midfielder Castro played a major role in our salvation in the premiere league and im sure that he will show his maximum potential by starting the new season from the begining . Our idol Daniel Bueno had a mixed season due to the sufferance of a major injury, but came back fighting and managed to become our team’s top scorer. When Daniel is in his best form he is simply unstoppable. Best wishes goes to all the players who left the club and we wish them the best for the future. A big welcome to our new coach and new players. Come on blues we want to be one of the best six teams in the premiere league, so let’s join all the club forces together so we’ll have a great season like we used to have some time ago.
