Jurgen Balzan wins FISTF Grand Prix in Issy, Paris

During the last weekend in Issy, Paris the FISTF Grand Prix was held, with the participation of three Maltese players.
On Saturday in the Veteran Individual Competition, Jason  Pisani of Master Sanremo arrived in the barrage stage after the groups, where he was eliminated by Belgian Daniel Sheen of Royal Kaisermuhlen 2-1 in the Open Category.
Massimo Cremona of Napoli Fighters arrived in the quarter final and was eliminated by Christophe Dheur of Charleroi Belgium in the extra time 4-3.
Jurgen Balzan of Stembert won this competition. The number 1 FISTF Under 19 World ranking dominated the group stage were in the final he won Louison Giuaux 1-0.
On Sunday, in the Team Event, Master Sanremo of Jason Pisani arrived in the semi final were they lost 2-1 against Charleroi of Belgium. Stembert of Jurgen Pisani lost the Final 2-0 against Charleroi of Belgium.
The MTFSA resumes its individual domestic leagues on the 9th February and on the 15-16th February with the clubs league and Knock Out Cup 2020.
