James Galea Jr. was the overall winner of The Qormi Trap Trophy that was organized at The Qormi shooting Club on Sunday. This event wa son 50 clays Trap with the top six qualfied for the semi finals on 15 clays and the medal matches on another 15 clays.

Junior promising shooter, James Galea competed amoung senior Maltese Trap shooters in extraordinary good weather conditions, unlike the rest of Europe, where most shooting ranges were frozen.
James Galea Jr. place 1st with 12/15 in the semi finals and 13/15 in the medal match.
Mario Zammit placed 2nd with 12/15 in the semi finals and 9/15 in the medal match.
Nicky Carabott placed 3rd with 10/15 in the semi finals and 13/15 in the medal match.
Brian Galea placed 4th with 10/15 in the semi finals and 12/15 in the medal match.
Paul Formosa placed 5th with 8/15 in the semi finals.
Jean Pierre Mifsud placed 6th with 8/15 in the semi finals.
Class A 1st Brian Galea 46/50, 2nd James Galea Jr. 44/50, 3rd paul Formosa 43/50.
Class B 1st Jean Pierre Mifsud 41/50, 2nd Carmel Mallia 40/50, 3rd George Grech 39/50.
Class C 1st Paul Gatt 38/50, 2nd Grezzju Zammit 35/50, 3rd Steve Aquilina 34/50.
