Injured Mamo in National squad heading for Zagreb

Malta National coach John Buttigieg has named a list of 19 players instead of the usual 18 man sqaud. This is due to the fact that he still beleives that Carlo Mamo who is injured may regain full fitness on time for Wednesday’s game against Croatia. Mamo was not utilised in yesterday’s U*Bet FA Trophy game between Marsaxlokk and Mqabba with Curmi’s side winning 1-0.

Malta’s squad incudes also Michael Mifsud who has just returned from a trail spell with USA team Chigago Fire Soccer Club as reported today in the daily newspaper l-Orizzont. 

The national team will leave Malta for Croatia tomorrow morning at 9:25am.
