The South End Core may be dismantled after the standard €5 price tag to watch the Malta home games in the South Stand will be increased.

The MFA’s top men have decided to increase the price of each ticket in an attempt to launch the Goal Card which will be launched this Thursday. This site can reveal that this card will cost €30 meaning that if one intends to go and support all the Malta home games in the South Stand he will have to face a €5 total increment. This decision to increase the prices in the South Stand contrasts and contradicts the idea of so so called “season ticket” concept.

A ticket to watch a game of Malta against Italy, Denmark and the Czech Rep will have a 50% increase as these tickets bought on either matchday or days before will cost €10.

The Goal Card will be valid only for qualifying games of the 2014 FIFA World Cup which will eventually be held in Brazil.

www.sportinmalta.com has information that the standard tickets per individual match for the South Stand will be as follows:

Malta v Italy – €10

Malta v Armenia – €7

Malta v Czech Rep – €10

Malta v Denmark – €10

Malta v Bulgaria – €7

Malta v Armenia – €7

The MFA will give details of all other prices during a Press Conference this coming Thursday.

50% increase for Italy and Czech tickets if SEC fans do not buy Goal Card
