A topnotch performance helped Aloysians secure their eleventh league title in a decisive match over Swieqi Phoenix. The newly crowned unbeaten champions claimed their forth consecutive trophy.

Aloysians started the match on a solid pace and surged ahead in the first half. They took matters in hand and controlled the match with a talanted performance. Swieqi failed to impress. Nonetheless, by the end of the first half, Aloysians were leading by 9 goals.

During the second half Aloysians, guided by Matthew Mamo, kept inflicting damage on Swieqi’s rear guard. They surged ahead and maintained the lead throughout the rest of the encounter.  Captain Philip Mifsud and Peter Naudi were in fine form scoring 9 goals each.  Young goalkeeper Reece Handrix Galea effected some brilliant saves. Aloysians will face rivals La Salle in their final match of the first division league.
