Valletta and Hamrun Spartans officials have met to discuss the transfer of striker Terrence Scerri and to finalise the loan deal of Massimo Grima.
Close sources have told sportinmalta.com that a Hamrun official met a City top official on Sunday.
The Hamrun Spartans contingent confirmed their interest in Scerri, 27, and that ‘‘the deal is on the cards’’.
Sportinmalta also contacted Valletta’s vice president Paul Spiteri who confirmed that Hamrun Spartans asked about the availability of both players. With regards to Scerri’s situation, he mentioned that the player is still in Mark Miller’s plans for the Champions League, but that the Citizens will value Hamrun’s offer before the league starts.
Massimo Grima is on his way out as his contract expired and he’s free to talk with other clubs for the forthcoming season.
