Maltese International goalkeeper Justin Haber has just signed a two year deal with Greek’s Super League Club Kerkyra Corfu.

The Maltese keeper was being monitored regularly recently by the technical staff of this team. Some club officials where also hopeful to see him play in the EURO 2012 qualifier against Greece but even though he was not utilized by coach Buttigieg the deal went through just the same.

Haber commented “I am really happy to have signed for this Premier League team in Greece, I have always liked this country and the fact that I played here way back in my career with Chaidari helped me even further to consider enhancing the talks with Corfu”.

Justin Haber was presented yesterday with all the new acquisitions of the Club and after today’s medical tests of all newcomers he will travel with all his team mates to the Club’s pre-season location where the official seasonal physical preparation will commence.

AO Kerkyra can be considered as a new comer for Greek’s Super league but last season they managed a merited 12th place and avoided relegation early in the season. They had been promoted to Greece’s top Division in the 2009/10 season. The Club’s stadium and premises are based in the country’s island of Corfu. The team’s coach is ex Red Star Belgrade player Bozidar Bandovic.
