MFA lifts Floriana’s prohibition, but Qormi have to wait for now

The Malta FA  lifted the prohibition ban imposed on Floriana FC and cleared the way to sign new players after the sale of Tyrone Farrugia.

The ban on transfer activities was imposed on Floriana following a complaint by Msida St Joseph for the money of Farrugia’s transfer.

Premier League club Qormi has to wait before complete the signing of Spanish striker Moises Avila Perez as the club failed to pay the money owned to another club.

I can’t understand these situations where a prohibition is lifted if a club owes a player, but not lifted if the club owes money to another club. I’m sure that Floriana owes quite a few money to alot of players but the prohibition is lifted to accomodate the club. Now most probbably after the transfer window ends, they impose it again, as if they can register players after the 31st January. Unfortunetely the MFA which is run by the clubs looks after the interest of the clubs and not the players. This is unacceptable in todays world that clubs like Floriana, Hamrun, Qormi and any other club who owes money to either clubs and players, keep registering new players and accumulating the debt, with the blessing of the MFA who take lenient decision towards clubs.
