I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the Gzira committee and supporters for these 2 years i spent at the club. It has only been a decision I took personally to move on to another club and a new adventure and I am sure that Gzira will do well this coming season and wish them all the best of luck. On a personal note I wish to thank the Denauele brothers, Frederick, Noel and most importantly Tyrone for all the hard work they do for this club….. they have been there for the club even in the most hard times of its history….. weldone and keep it up.

Last seasons goalkeeper Simon Agius had a contract that expired at the end of last season, and as per contract he had a right to move on to another club once payment as per parameters were effected. He chose to take that option and has joined a Gozitan club. Tyrone Demanuele (Secretary – Gzira Utd FC)
