GSSE 2017: Frans Pace wins silver medal in Trap Shooting

Frans Pace made his comeback with flying colours today at San Marino GSSE Trap event where he qualified for the finals with a fantastic score of 118/125.

He kept his pace in the elimination rounds where he managed another 39 single barrel shot to win The Silver medal. This was another feather in his cap of a career in shooting sports going back over thirty years. The other Maltese trap shooter Brian Galea managed 112/125.

Mancini Manuel of San Marino won Gold with 43/50

Frans Pace from Malta won Silver with 39/50

Berti Gran Marco of San Marino won Bronze with 28/40

Akterzi of Cyprus placed 4th with 27/35

Dandreis Daniel of Monaco placed 5th with 19/30

Mylonas Adonis of Cyprus placed 6th 17/25

 

Maltese Double Trap shooters William Chetcuti and Gianluca Chetcuti will compete in Double Trap.

While Bozidar Dimitrov and Clive Farrugia will compete in Skeet shooting event.

Eleonor Bezzina will compete in 10 M Air Pistol while Gianluca Azzoppardi Spiteri AND William Vella will compete in 10 M Air Rifle event.
