Gozo Motocross Championship Round 3

The Gozo Motorcross Association (GMA) organised its third round of the championship 2020- fuelled by Enemed at Ta’ Xħajma Track.

Riders of all classes dominated the day as they put on the most incredible competitive show. Top rider of the championship classification, Steve Xuereb, won full points in Class A followed by Glenn Vella.

Class B was just as challenging with Daniel Portelli and Robert Spiteri striving hard for first place. In fact Spiteri won over by 3 points.

In Class C, Silvan Caruana did quite well. He was followed closely by young Isaac Bartolo who came in second after Caruana by one point. Matthew Buttigieg made a comeback and he came in third place in this category. Godfrey Bigeni also made a comeback in class C.

Meanwhile, in class D, Jurgen Attard achieved maximum points. Our youngest rider yet. Mark Camilleri came in second place followed by Steve Cassar with 2 points less. This class welcomed 17year old Luke Caruana.

Gozo Motocross Association  announces that the fourth round of the Yamaha Gozo Motocross Championship 2017/18 will take place on Sunday 14th  January 2017 at Ta’ Xhajma Track. Races start at 13:00.

At the end, Anthony Fenech, director of ‘Service with a smile on time’, awarded trophies and also glass tokens to the winners. He also presented a token to the association.

Round 4 of the Gozo Motocross championship 2020 – fuelledbyenemed will be held on Sunday 12th January 2020
