Gordon Asciak Tennis Academy travels to Sicily

A group of juniors, representing the Gordon Asciak Tennis Academy, will be
travelling to Catania Sicily, early Saturday morning (14th February), for a
3 day tennis tournament.  The Maltese juniors whose age varies from 8 to 15
years old, will be competing against top juniors from Sicily. Play will be
held at the Montekatira Tennis club, Catania, considered one of the best
clubs in Sicily. The group consists of Malta’s No.1 u 16 player Miguel
Galea,  Malta’s No. 1 player u12 and u 14 Emma Mallia and 11 year old  Alex
Degabriele who is ranked 2 in the boy’s u 14. In the u 10 boy’s singles,
Luke Bianco, Matthew Zammit, Sean Grech, Jake Pillow and Jake Bonello  are
some of the best u 10 players in Malta. It will be an excellent experience
for the rest of the team, composed of Robin Caruana Montalto, Zac Camilleri
Bowman, Nicholas Degateano, Izaak Buttigieg and Daniel Soler. The group will
be accompanied by Malta Open Tennis Champion Matthew Asciak, head Coach at
the Tennis School and Coach Helen Asciak.
