Girls waterpolo is back

Wednesday, September 22, 2010, 20:29

The Sirens Girls Water Polo Club is looking for kids who want to have fun in the water and learn how to play this great game. No experience needed. If you can swim, you can learn to play water polo!

We offer a full range of programmes from beginning level to our athletes and there is something for every ability level.

Getting started is relatively simple. Equipment is minimal- start with a swim suit and goggles, then just add water. The club provides all the other equipment and tools necessary to develop your child into a healthy, well-conditioned water polo player, in an enjoyable, educational and rigorous setting

Work sessions are every Saturday at MFA pool between: 1400 – 1500. For further information please stop at the front desk and ask to see Godwin Steer or Kynan Muscat Scerri on 79567956 or by email on kynanms@live.com

this is good news.So far San Giljan were the only Club with a female squad which trains regularly. In fact every summer an international tournament for ladies is organized by San Giljan. Perhaps more local teams will jset up a female squad a league can be played as from next summer
